What is the Gospel?
It is the power of God’s Love
reaching out to save those who believe.
(I Corinthians 1:17-18, 21-25; Hebrews
12:2)
Forgiveness of sins (Colossians 2:13-15)
What is sin?
“… sin is Lawlessness.” (I
John 3:4)
Lawlessness (Anomia in Greek)
–Denotes the rejection of the law, or the will of God and the substitution of
the will of self.
What is Salvation?
Salvation (Soteria in the
Greek) – Denotes Deliverance; Safety; preservation; healing; salvation;
soundness.
Soundness - Whole, complete,
entire - lacking nothing that properly belongs to it.
What is Eternal Life?
To know God. (It's based on
relationship.) (John 17:3)
God wants you to have a
relationship with Him and to understand (experience) His ways. (Jeremiah 9:23, 24)
What do I do now?
Realize you need God…
Open your heart to God, and
make room for Him to come in…
(Psalm 10:4)
Jesus said, “apart from me
you can do nothing…" (John 15:5)
He also said, “Behold I stand
at the door (of your heart) and knock…”
(Revelation 3:20)
He wants to pour out His
heart to you and fill your heart with what He has for you. (Proverbs 1:22,23)
The only one that can hold
Him back is you. (Isaiah
1:18-20)
Realize that God provided the way…
What is the way?
“Jesus said I am the
way…” (John 14:6)
“For there is one mediator
between God and man…" (I Timothy 2:5)
You need to repent (turn away
from sin and then turn to God)
What is repentance? (Acts
26:20,18)
Soon you will come to hate
evil (Proverbs 8:13) once you have realized that:
Sin will only separate you
from God. (Isaiah 59:1,2; Ephesians
4:18; Ephesians 2:12-16,19)
Sin will eventually try to
destroy your life by keeping you in bondage, and making you a slave to sin… (II
Peter 2:19; John 8:34; Romans 6:11-14)
Sin will try to destroy those
around you by bringing hurt and pain to the ones who really love you, God included. (Genesis 6:5,6)
THE GOSPEL…
Is part of the overall plan of
God for revealing Himself (His Love) to man. (Romans 1:18-20)
It’s a free gift, offered to
anyone who is willing to receive.
(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:11-12; I John 5:12; John 5:24)
It’s a salvation that begins
with you taking the first step into the promises of God. God has
already done His part, He has provided The Way, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

| Prayer for Salvation...
Dear God,
I come before You and say that I believe that You are the one true and holy God. I choose to serve You forever, and I ask You to come into my heart and dwell within me.
I repent (turn away) from my sins and ask You to wash them away with the power of your blood, Jesus Christ. I believe You died to pay the ultimate price for the debt of my sins and to set me free from the bondages of sin (and death).
Lord, I pray that You would send your Holy Spirit with "fire" and remove everything that separates me from knowing You. Break off every unclean tie and strike down every dart of the enemy. I no longer want to live serving the enemy, but I want to live for eternity serving the Almighty God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
I declare that on this day, enemy, you have no more dominion in my life and I remove, by the grace and power of God, any and all judgments and curses that you have placed on me.
Jesus, I pray that You would give me clean hands and a pure heart. Teach me to worship You in spirit and in truth, walking in the light of Your favor.
From this day forward, I serve the Lord and I am a Son/Daughter of God. I am not an orphan, but a child of the Living God. No fear will I have, but the fear of the Lord my God.
I ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen (so be it).
