And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Lamentations 3: 25, 26 & 28

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Let him sit alone in silence, for the Lord has laid it on him.

Intimacy with God starts when we overwhelming pursue Him with our whole heart.  We are told in Psalm 46:10 to “Be still, and know that I am God.” The wording “be still” translates to “be quiet” or be relaxed.  It requires us to shut off the outside world with all its distractions.  We need to focus our heart, mind, spirit and body on Jesus and His manifested presence and tune out the physical world around us.

Church and Bible studies are not enough.  We must make time to soak in His presence and pray.  Taking time to praise and thank Him and ask for more of Him, more of His presence in our lives.

God releases His power through all of us when we dwell in intimacy with Him. In James 4:8 we are told “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

I have been so blessed by this simple scripture. Through it God has revealed so many wonderful miracles and provisions.  The Lord invites you to sign up for any time you feel you want to devote solely to prayer and soaking in our Lord’s presence.

We are located at The Father’s House Prayer Room, 1800 Cinema Drive, Henderson, KY.

Real faith is acting on God’s Word. We cannot develop an effective prayer life unless God’s Word actually has a part in our lives.  Come and be a vessel which God will use to bring about many miracles which will bring salvation to the sinner, deliverance to the oppressed, healing to the sick, and prosperity for the poor.

In addition to affecting outward circumstances and other people, your prayers will also affect you.  My life has been completely transformed through prayer let God transform all of us as we grow together.

In His presence and Word,

Your brother in Christ

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20
